Reckon on 190 km of road and close to 2h 30 of actual driving, not counting photo stops or a meal. On the longer hauls we schedule rest breaks, and a mountain pass is never something we hurry.

One all-inclusive fare per vehicle: from $120 for a sedan or comfort van (1–5 passengers), from $155 for a Mercedes Vito or SUV (1–6) or from $175 for a Sprinter VIP (7–17). Fuel, highway tolls, passenger insurance and your driver are all in the price — confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Settle it in cash on the day or pay ahead by bank transfer.

Everything for the road: fuel, all highway tolls, passenger insurance and your English-speaking private driver, plus door-to-door pickup and bottled water on board. There is no meter and nothing added at the kerb — the from-price you confirm at booking is the price you pay.

Of course — stopping where you please is exactly why a private car beats the train or a shared shuttle. Just point your driver to the spot and the rhythm of the day is yours to set. Want a guide to walk you round a site? We will price that as a day tour instead.

Either is fine on this corridor. Centre to centre the train costs less; the private car, though, comes to your door, swallows all the luggage, leaves when you do and stops where you want. Families and anyone with a tight onward connection are better off in the car.
