Visiting the Hassan II Mosque
Completed in 1993 on a platform over the Atlantic, the mosque has a 210-metre minaret, the second tallest in the world. It is the one mosque in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors, and only on a guided tour. Tours run several times a day (09:00 to 15:00, plus 16:00 from mid-March to mid-September, fewer on Fridays and a separate Ramadan schedule), and the ticket for adult foreign visitors is 130 MAD, sold on site.
