Is There Uber in Casablanca? Getting from CMN Without an App

Updated October 20262 min readby Casablanca Airport Transfers

The short answer

Yes, Uber operates in Casablanca again: it relaunched on 27 November 2025 with licensed vehicles (UberX, UberXL). But none of its announcements mention pickups at Mohammed V Airport (CMN), so we can't confirm one will be available when you land. Without an app: the train, the Aérobus, the taxi rank, or a pre-booked car.

Can you book an Uber at Mohammed V Airport?

We can't confirm it. Uber's November 2025 relaunch announcement and its July 2026 expansion (Agadir, Tangier, reinforced Casablanca and Rabat) say nothing about airports. Open the app after landing to see what it offers at that moment; have a plan B if it shows nothing.

Why not other ride apps?

Morocco's Interior Ministry has said that carrying passengers in a private car booked through an app, without a transport licence, is prohibited and is checked (July 2025). Uber's relaunch uses licensed vehicles only.
